Katelyn fell in love with storytelling at a young age
because of her close relationship with her grandfather,
the greatest storyteller she's ever known. She wrote her
first story after his death when she was eleven, and she
hasn't stopped! After over a decade of writing for fun,
Katelyn decided to publish her debut novel, Forged in
Gold, in 2024.
Katelyn is from a small town outside of Boston, Massa-
chusetts, and spent most of her life working in childcare.
She received her B.A. in English Language and Literature

(among other stories in the works), she works as a part time beta reader, editor, and
proofreader.
While she primarily writes fantasy, Katelyn is a fan of all genres! She has a soft spot
for classic literature, particularly the works of Jane Austen, F. Scott Fitzgerald, and
C.S. Lewis. She's also a loyal Hufflepuff, a Stark of Winterfell, and Iron Man's
biggest fan! She loves being a part of the many incredible communities born from
a shared love of fiction, magic, fantasy, and escapism.
Katelyn currently lives at home with her father, younger sister, and feisty (yet
adorable) kitty, Nugget. She writes in honor of her beloved mother, Terrie, who
passed away from cancer in 2015.
